There’s been a great deal of talk about Greek debt lately, and I wanted to turn the spotlight on another Greek specialty: Yogurt.
Greek yogurt is a thicker, creamier version of regular yogurt that’s become popular over the last few years, largely due to its health benefits and versatility. The yogurt is somewhat plain on its own, but is excellent with fruit, granola, or grilled vegetables. Topping any of the aforementioned with agave nectar completes the dish.
Greek yogurt is also a good substitute for sour cream, and is excellent as a dip or dollop in soup. Chobani is a popular portable option, but Costco carries two large containers for about $8.
Time Magazine is thinking the same thing: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,2117230,00.html
I always like the taste of Greek yogurt. Most of the time i use it as a substitute for sour cream. *.*.`
