We’ve been thinking about this for a while, and we’ve come to entirely unique conclusion that Apple will release a TV sometime this year or next. We write this not because we’re the first to think of it, but because we want to be able to say “told you so” when it happens. We believe it will closely resemble an iMac, come in two or three sizes and follow the traditional Apple pricing model of, something like, $1199, $1399 and $1799. It’ll likely pack a Retina display, and incorporate the streaming capabilities of the AirPort Express and Apple TV. You’ll have full mirroring options with iTunes, iPads and iPhones, and you’ll probably be able to use your iPhone as some sort of remote, as well.
And chances are, it’ll just be called iTV.
